  • No. you and your significant other will have the venue to yourselves and celebrate with 48 of your guests.

  • Nope! What makes your intimate wedding so easy is we take care of all the wedding extras! We ask that you do not bring any extra decorations. However, You can bring any sentimental small personal décor you would like to have with you during the ceremony. For example, a bridal bouquet charm.

  • A general timeline will flow like the following:

    -10 minutes: doors open and guests take their seats

    -5 minutes: ceremony procession starts (this includes groom entrance, bridal party, bride entrance)

    -20 minutes: ceremony

    -5 minutes: ceremony exit

    -30 minutes: family pictures, bridal pictures, couple portraits

    -5 minutes: bride and groom entrance and first dance

    -45 minutes: champagne and cake reception and petal send off.

  • No, no need worry about organizing a rehearsal with everyone. The day of the wedding we will help que people when to walk during the ceremony.

  • Yes! A virtual meeting will take place a week or two before the day of the wedding. During this meeting we will finalize the timeline for the day, ceremony procession, ceremony songs, and any final questions you might have.

  • Yes, the bride and groom, babies, and small children all count toward the guest list. This is to keep the headcount under the maximum capacity for the venue, keeping in mind we have to include our small team organizing and orchestrating your wedding (separate from your guest count). Any guest after the first 50 can be added to your list for $25/person, up to 75 people. Any guest after 75, can be added to your list for $50/person up to 85 people. The maximum amount of people per event will be capped at 85.

  • Unfortunately, no. The venue is booked for a specific amount of time, and there are other weddings booked throughout the day that we will have to refresh the space for after your wedding.

  • No. Sassafras Events works diligently to plan every aspect and detail of your wedding months in advance. This is what makes our process so easy and as stress free as possible for you.

  • Absolutely! We understand the ceremony is the most intimate and personal part of your wedding day. If you have a close family member or significant person you would like to officiate your ceremony, please use your own officiant! Keep in mind, this person still counts toward your guest list and does not change the price for your wedding as the officiant is built into the package price.

  • No. We have a partnership with a photographer who knows our process, and help your day run as smooth as it can.

  • Most of the planning process is non-negotiable. However, we understand every wedding is different. If you wish to add small personal touches, we would love to discuss your ideas with you. This will help us possibly figure out how we can make your event more personable and intimate. We will do our best to accommodate your personal touches.

  • Email us at sassafrasevents22@outlook.com. Include your name, phone number, and any specific information you might have (for example tentative guest count, how many people in your bridal party, etc.) Please give us 1-2 business days to respond. Securing your booking requires a 50% non-refundable deposit. You will pay the reminder of your amount before your event.
